LUSEM part of winning proposal for national research centre on women’s health
Lund University has received a long-term grant from FORTE to establish a new national research centre dedicated to interdisciplinary research on cancer and equity in women’s health.
Researchers from LUSEM will play a key role in the initiative. Therese Nilsson, Professor of Economics, and Luciana Quaranta, Associate Professor of Economic History are both researchers at the centre CIRCE (Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Cancer and Equity). CIRCE will receive over SEK 70 million over five years and aims to deliver more equitable, evidence-based, and person-centred healthcare across the life course.
“This is a unique opportunity for great interdisciplinary research," says Therese Nilsson.
LUSEM and Wihlborgs are building bridges to the future
Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) sees great value in long-term collaboration with the business sector. A partnership with LUSEM gives companies the opportunity to be involved in education through guest lectures, case competitions, and other educational initiatives. The partnership also provides access to a broad and dynamic network of students, alumni, and companies.
It opens the door to new collaborations, knowledge exchange, and opportunities for all parties involved.
To gain a better understanding of how the collaboration works in practice, we spoke with Tove Gleisner, HR Director and Acting Head of Sustainability at Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB.
